Welcome to T.J.'s P.T.A. Website!
Our new website is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on all of the events and activities happening at TJ. While much of the site is currently under construction, we will be adding bits and pieces to it so that it will become a robust source of information. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please feel free to contact us. We'd love to hear from you!
T.J.'s Mission:
Our population of approximately 580 encompasses students of many diverse backgrounds and cultures in kindergarten through sixth grade. We strive to provide the kind of individual attention that encourages students both academically and socially and makes our large school seem like a smaller, more personal one. Thomas Jefferson’s mission is to empower our students to be self-motivated, world-class learners who demonstrate respect, responsibility, and commitment to academic excellence. Our motto is “One Terrific Journey,” and staff, parents, and community supporters are all dedicated to making each child’s “journey” at Thomas Jefferson truly terrific!
Thanks To YOU!
The Fun Fair was a huge success thanks to all of the dedicated volunteers who made it possible. We would like to thank Mr. Sasso, Mrs. Riehman, the office staff and the custodial staff. Thank you to Mrs. Wilson for coordinating the raffle baskets (and the basketeers for putting all the baskets together); Mrs. Skoog for running the cake walk; all the parents and teachers who contributed in numerous ways. Thank you to Kristin Wiehe for making the signs; Tracy Werling for organizing the pre-tickets sales; Liza Alexanian for running the kitchen all night; Mary Mottonen for managing the game room; Lisa Olson for the use of the Karoke dics, members of Fremd's honor society for running the games; and so many others without whom the Fun Fair couldn't have happened. Stay tuned for next year!"
