Information about participating in District 15's Beginning band is generally distributed to 4th grade students at the end of the school year and an informational parent meeting is scheduled for early in the 5th grade school-year.

Beginning Band for 5th Grade students involves ONE lesson during the school day each week and ONE before-school morning rehearsal each week.

Intermediate Band for 6th Grade students involves ONE lesson during the school day each week and TWO before-school morning rehearsals each week.

We have many talented kids in the band who will be participating in
The Illinois Grade School Solo Contest in February. We'll also be learning to improvise jazz this spring as well as visiting some senior centers to perform.
