5th Grade Percussion

Auditions are held in late January.

Thirty students are selected from all students who audition. The group is limited to a total of 30 students due to instrument restrictions. Students who successfully complete the audition return as 6th grade members without auditioning. The group begins rehearsals in February and performs in May at the 5/6 Performance Group Program.

6th Grade Percussion

The 6th Grade Percussion Ensemble performs several times during the year. The first program is in conjunction with the 6th grade Winter Concert. Students perform again in the Spring 5/6 Performance Group Program. 6th Grade Percussion is comprised of students who successfully completed the previous years audition.

Auditions for the 6th grade group are only held if a position becomes available.

Rehearsals are scheduled on Fridays during lunch recess.
